VisitGaia BH3: Largest Stellar Black Hole in Milky Way, 33 Times Sun's Mass, Found 2000 Light Years Away

Astronomers have recently discovered the largest stellar black hole in the Milky Way, identified as Gaia BH3. This black hole, which formed from an exploding star, has a mass 33 times that of the Sun and is located just 2000 light years away from Earth. The discovery was made possible by data from the ESA's Gaia mission. This finding marks the first time a black hole of stellar origin this large has been observed in our galaxy.
