DEEPX, a South Korean AI chip startup, has successfully raised approximately $80 million in a Series C funding round, valuing the company at around $529 million. This funding round was led by SkyLake, a private equity firm headed by Chin Dae-je, a former Samsung executive known for his role in Samsung's ascension in the memory chip market. The latest funding significantly increases DEEPX's total investment to about $95 million and marks an 8x growth from its Series B valuation.
