BlackRock's BUIDL Becomes Largest Tokenized Fund with $375M AUM
Apr 30, 2024, 02:46 PM
BlackRock's first tokenized fund, BUIDL, has rapidly become the largest of its kind with $375 million in assets under management (AUM), surpassing Franklin Templeton's rival offering. Launched on March 20 as a private short-term treasury fund, BUIDL attracted nearly $300 million shortly after its release. Significant contributions came from Ondo Finance's tokenized Treasury offering, OUSG, which leveraged BlackRock's token as a reserve asset and saw $50 million in inflows in just one week. This growth has positioned BUIDL as the fastest-growing tokenized fund in history.
