Multiple Ukrainian kamikaze drones struck high-rise residential buildings in Kazan, Russia, on Saturday morning, causing fires and prompting evacuations. The drones, which traveled over 1,000 kilometers, targeted buildings in the Sovetsky, Kirovsky, and Privolzhsky districts, including the 21-story Manhattan residential complex. Local authorities reported that residents have been evacuated and are being provided with shelter, warm clothes, and food, as per Mayor Ilsur Metshin's instructions. The head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, visited one of the affected sites. An alert system has been activated in the city, with residents advised to move to lower floors and basements when alarms sound. The Russian Aviation Authority has temporarily suspended flights at Kazan airport. There are no reports of casualties at this time.
