Aug 2, 2024, 10:23 PM
Israel's intelligence agency Mossad reportedly hired Iranian security agents to plant explosives in three separate rooms of a guest house where Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh was staying. The operation aimed to assassinate Haniyeh during his visits to Tehran. Israeli intelligence had identified the specific facility and the exact room Haniyeh used. The explosives were planted in advance, and the plan was executed to target Haniyeh. The UK-based Telegraph reported this on Saturday.
