Researchers Discover L-Shaped Structure Near Great Pyramid of Khufu, Lost Nile Branch Found
May 16, 2024, 03:18 PM
Researchers from Egypt’s National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics and Japan’s Higashi Nippon International University and Tohoku University have discovered an unusual underground L-shaped structure near the Great Pyramid of Khufu in Giza. This mysterious structure, located up to 32 feet below the surface, was identified using ground-penetrating technology and could potentially be an entrance to an undiscovered tomb. An anomaly was detected near the Great Pyramid. Additionally, scientists have uncovered a long-buried branch of the Nile river that once flowed alongside more than 30 pyramids in Egypt. This ancient waterway, which dried up thousands of years ago, may have been used to transport the massive stone blocks needed to build the famous monuments, potentially solving the mystery of how the pyramids were constructed.
