Zelensky Proposes Swap of North Korean POWs Captured in Kursk for Ukrainians Held by Russia

On Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine is ready to hand over captured North Korean soldiers to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in exchange for Ukrainian soldiers held captive in Russia. Zelensky shared footage of the first interrogation of the North Korean soldiers, who were captured by Ukrainian forces during combat operations in Russia's Kursk region. He stated that for those North Korean soldiers who do not wish to return, alternative arrangements can be made.
