IDF Kills Hamas Nukhba Commander and UNRWA Employee Mohammad Abu Itiwi Involved in Nova Festival Massacre

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet have announced the elimination of Mohammad Abu Itiwi, a commander in Hamas's elite Nukhba Force, involved in the October 7th attacks on Israeli civilians. Abu Itiwi led the assaults on the bomb shelter on Route 232 near Kibbutz Re'im and the Nova music festival, where many Israelis were killed and kidnapped. He was known to have thrown grenades into roadside bomb shelters during these attacks. Abu Itiwi was killed in an airstrike in the Gaza Strip on October 24th. According to the IDF, he had been employed by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) since July 2022, with employee number #10776948.
