Hezbollah Releases Nine-Minute Drone Footage of Sensitive Sites in Haifa, Including Iron Dome
Jun 18, 2024, 01:16 PM
Lebanon's Hezbollah has released a nine-minute 31-second video purportedly showing footage from a surveillance drone over northern Israel, including the city of Haifa and the Kiryat region. The video, published on Tuesday, reveals sensitive locations such as the port of Haifa, residential and military complexes, chemical and oil storages, and Israeli warships. The footage also shows the positions of Iron Dome and David's Sling batteries, suggesting a significant breach of Israeli air defenses. The drone used in the operation was identified as the Al-Hudhud UAV. This development highlights Hezbollah's capability to gather intelligence on critical Israeli sites, raising concerns for the Israeli military and defense systems. The release of the footage comes hours after Hochstein's visit to Beirut.
