IDF and Shin Bet Arrest Over 240 Suspected Terrorists, Including Hospital Director, at Hamas Stronghold in Kamal Adwan Hospital
Dec 28, 2024, 04:10 PM
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), in a joint operation with the Shin Bet, have completed an operation targeting Hamas operatives at Kamal Adwan Hospital in the Jabalia area of northern Gaza. The operation, which began after intelligence confirmed the presence of terrorist infrastructure and operatives, led to the arrest of over 240 suspected terrorists. Among those detained were the hospital's director, suspected of being a Hamas terrorist, and 15 individuals who participated in the October 7 attacks. The IDF stated that Kamal Adwan Hospital has been used as a Hamas terrorist stronghold. Soldiers from the 401st Brigade were involved in the operation. Prior to the operation, efforts were made to evacuate civilians, patients, and medical personnel to alternative hospitals in Gaza to minimize civilian risk, with coordination from COGAT alongside local health authorities and international organizations.
