Two flare bombs fired at Netanyahu's Caesarea home; PM absent, three arrested
Nov 17, 2024, 01:26 AM
On Saturday evening, two flare bombs were fired at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence in Caesarea. The flares landed in the garden near a security guard's post, but neither Netanyahu nor his family were present at the time, and no damage or injuries were reported. The Israeli police and security agency Shin Bet have launched an investigation into what they described as a 'serious incident' and a 'dangerous escalation' that 'crossed all red lines'. Three suspects were arrested on Sunday morning in connection with the attack. Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant condemned the incident and called for swift action to prevent further escalation. Opposition leaders also denounced the attack.
