Steve Buscemi Randomly Attacked in Manhattan, Hospitalized with Facial Injuries

Actor Steve Buscemi, known for his roles in 'Boardwalk Empire' and 'Monsters Inc.', was randomly attacked in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The incident occurred last Wednesday while the 66-year-old was walking with a companion on Third Ave. near E. 27th St. in Kips Bay. An assailant approached Buscemi and punched him in the face, causing bruising, bleeding, and swelling to his face and left eye. Buscemi was subsequently taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment. The attacker fled the scene and remains at large.
