A drone attack targeted the Khor Mor gas field in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, Iraq's Kurdistan region, resulting in the death of four individuals and injuries to three others. The attack, which involved an Iranian-made Kamikaze drone, Shahed-101, led to the suspension of production at the facility, as confirmed by an advisor to the Iraqi Kurdish Prime Minister. This disruption has significantly impacted the electricity supply in the region, as Khor Mor contributes to three-quarters of Iraqi Kurdistan's electricity. Despite initial reports suggesting the operation of the field was unaffected, subsequent updates confirmed severe damage and operational halts.
