Henry Cavill to Star and Executive Produce Amazon's Warhammer 40,000 Series as Deal Officially Moves Forward on Prime Video

Games Workshop and Amazon Studios have finalized an agreement to adapt the Warhammer 40,000 universe, a science-fiction tabletop game, into live-action television series and films. Henry Cavill will star in and executive produce the series, which will be available on Prime Video. The deal comes two years after the rights were first secured and marks an official move forward for the project. Cavill expressed enthusiasm, stating they are in a 'fantastic place to start our Universe' and are working with 'the brilliant minds at Games Workshop.' Multiple Warhammer projects are reportedly in development, though release dates have not yet been announced.
