Nine Just Stop Oil Activists Arrested at Heathrow in Europe-Wide Campaign

Nine Just Stop Oil activists were arrested this morning at Heathrow Airport as part of a coordinated Europe-wide campaign to disrupt air traffic. The Metropolitan Police stated that the arrests were made on suspicion of conspiring to interfere with a site of key national infrastructure under the Public Order Act. The activists were taken into custody, preventing significant disruption to the airport and the traveling public. The arrests occurred at two locations around Heathrow at 9am.
