Police Search for Suspect After Uber Driver Punched, Bitten, Carjacked in Queens

Police are searching for a suspect after an Uber driver was punched, bitten, and carjacked in Jamaica, Queens. The NYPD released video footage showing a woman who carjacked an Uber driver last week in Bellerose, Queens. The incident occurred on October 10th around 11:30 pm when the 52-year-old male driver was called to an address on 86th Avenue off 241st Street. The woman pulled open the front passenger door, jumped in, attacked, bitten, and robbed the driver. She then threw the driver out of the car and took off in it. The stolen SUV was later crashed into a tree a short distance from the robbery. Police have released images of the woman in hopes that someone will recognize her.
