US Deploys F-15E Fighters to Jordan and Israel Amid Rising Tensions with Iran
Nov 7, 2024, 11:09 AM
A squadron of at least 6 U.S. Air Force F-15E 'Strike Eagle' multirole fighters departed from RAF Lakenheath in the U.K. this morning, bound for Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. These aircraft are accompanied by 3 KC-46A 'Pegasus' aerial-refueling tankers. At least 12 F-15 fighter jets are en route to Jordan as the U.S. bolsters its military presence in the Middle East, anticipating a potential Iranian strike on Israel, according to Haaretz. There has been no official statement from the U.S. military. Israeli sources claim the squadron of F-15E fighters was 'hastily deployed' after observing preparations for a possible imminent attack against Israel inside Iran, reported by Times Of Israel.
