This win marks Alcaraz's fourth title of the year and his first in Asia. The match was their 10th meeting on tour, with Alcaraz now leading the head-to-head 6-4 and 3-0 against Sinner in 2024. Alcaraz's performance included winning seven straight points in the final set tiebreaker, showcasing his resilience and skill. Sinner, who had been on a 15-match winning streak and was the defending champion, praised Alcaraz's performance, acknowledging the high quality of tennis displayed. Alcaraz's victory also makes him the first player to win ATP 500 events on three different surfaces. Alcaraz hit 55 winners and won 19 of 31 points at the net. This was Sinner's 21st career tour level final.
