VisitCostco Raises Membership Fees by $5 for First Time in Seven Years

Costco has raised its membership fees for the first time in seven years. The new fee structure, which took effect on September 1, increases the Gold membership fee from $60 to $65 and the Executive membership fee from $120 to $130. This price hike comes amid rising inflation and affects members in the US and Canada. The last membership fee increase was in June 2017. Costco announced the increase in July, noting that annual membership fees would increase by $5 for three of its plans.
