China Initiates Anti-Dumping Probe into Canadian Rapeseed and Canola Oil Imports
Sep 9, 2024, 06:09 AM
China's Ministry of Commerce has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into Canadian rapeseed and canola oil imports, starting from September 9, 2024. The investigation will examine imports from January 1 to December 31, 2023, and will also include an industrial injury investigation period from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023. Preliminary evidence and information indicate that dumping has occurred. The announcement has led to a sharp narrowing of the intraday decline in Zhengzhou rapeseed oil prices.
