Atlassian Corporation Plc reported strong earnings for the first quarter of fiscal year 2025, beating estimates with a revenue of $1.19 billion, a 21% increase year-over-year. The company also reported a non-GAAP earnings per share (EPS) of $0.77, surpassing the expected $0.54. Despite the revenue growth, Atlassian recorded a net loss of $123.8 million, compared to a net loss of $31.9 million in the same quarter last year. Following the earnings report, Atlassian's stock surged approximately 14% in after-hours trading, reflecting investor optimism. The company has also announced a new share repurchase program, authorizing up to $1.5 billion, which follows the completion of an existing $1 billion buyback. For the second quarter of fiscal year 2025, Atlassian guided revenue between $1.233 billion and $1.241 billion, slightly above consensus estimates.
