France Recovers €300M from Frozen Russian Assets to Aid Ukraine with 12 Caesar Howitzers

France has recovered €300 million from the interest on frozen Russian assets to provide military equipment to Ukraine. This includes 12 new Caesar howitzers, 155mm shells, Aster missiles, and Mistral launchers. The funds will be utilized by the end of 2024, according to Defence Minister Sébastien Lecornu in an interview for La Tribune Dimanche. Additionally, France announced the transfer of Mirage aircraft and support for Ukraine's future NATO membership.
