China Sets Multiple World Records at Paris Paralympics; Jiang Yuyan Wins Seventh Gold

China has made a significant impact at the Paris Paralympics, setting multiple world records and securing numerous gold medals. Guo Jincheng won gold in the men's 50m fly S5 with a world record performance. The Chinese team, consisting of Zhou Guohua, Wang Hao, Wen Xiaoyan, and Hu Yang, set a world record in the 4x100m universal relay with a time of 45.09 seconds in the heats. Additionally, the team of Lu Dong, Zhang Li, Wang Lichao, and Guo Jincheng set a new world record in the mixed 4x50m medley relay with a time of 2:24.83, marking China's 70th title and the team's 600th gold in total at the Summer Paralympics. Team China's Hu Yang, Wang Hao, Wen Xiaoyan, and Zhou Guohua also smashed the mixed 4x100m universal relay world record by finishing in 45.07 seconds to win the gold. This was Wen Xiaoyan's fourth gold in Paris. Jiang Yuyan, a 19-year-old swimmer, collected her seventh gold medal, setting a world record in the process. China has climbed to the top of the medal table with these achievements.
