Evacuation Orders Issued for Seven Oaks as Line Fire Intensifies in San Bernardino National Forest
Sep 29, 2024, 10:50 PM
Evacuation orders have been issued for the community of Seven Oaks in response to the Line Fire, which has intensified in the San Bernardino National Forest. The fire, originating from the Santa Ana River drainage below Angelus Oaks, had previously received nearly a half inch of rain but has been reignited due to warming and drying conditions. Firefighters are actively working to contain the fire, with air tankers on order and structure defense assets staged in the area. The fire has torched tens of thousands of acres of vegetation and is rapidly approaching residential areas. Residents are advised to evacuate immediately and follow all safety instructions from emergency personnel.
