Director Randall Miller, who remains on probation for the fatal accident on the set of 'Midnight Rider' in 2014, has received $1.5 million in California state tax incentives to make his next independent feature. The California Film Commission awarded a total of $51.6 million in tax credits to 19 projects, including 15 independent features.
