FCA Approves WisdomTree's Bitcoin and Ether ETPs for Professionals on London Stock Exchange

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has approved WisdomTree's application to list physically-backed Bitcoin and Ether exchange-traded products (ETPs) on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) for professionals only. This marks the first time cryptocurrency ETPs have been approved for listing in the UK, representing a significant step towards broader institutional adoption of digital assets in traditional finance. The approved ETPs are expected to go live on May 28, 2024.
