Germany to Supply Ukraine with 4,000 AI-Powered 'Mini-Taurus' Drones Starting December, Resistant to Russian Jamming
Nov 18, 2024, 08:10 AM
Germany is set to supply Ukraine with 4,000 AI-powered "Mini-Taurus" attack drones from the German company Helsing, starting in December, with several hundred units to be delivered monthly. These drones are nicknamed "Mini-Taurus" due to their autonomy and advanced navigation systems, closely resembling the capabilities of Germany's long-range Taurus missiles. Equipped with artificial intelligence and terrain matching AI for cruise and terminal guidance, they are virtually invulnerable to Russian electronic warfare and GPS jamming. The drones are comparable to the American Switchblade and the Russian Lancet but are cheaper, can fly longer, and can effectively strike distant targets.
