Dell Implements Badge, VPN Tracking, Color-Coding in RTO Push
May 9, 2024, 05:08 AM
Dell is intensifying its return-to-office (RTO) policy by implementing measures to track the onsite presence of its hybrid workers. The company will use electronic badge swipes and VPN monitoring to ensure employees are physically present when they claim to be. Additionally, Dell plans to introduce a color-coding system to categorize staff based on their adherence to the hybrid working model. This move, as one source said, comes as a response to the significant number of employees opting to remain remote even after the RTO mandate was enforced.
