White House Dismisses Drone Threat in NJ, Citing No Evidence of Foreign Origin
Dec 12, 2024, 07:23 PM
The White House has dismissed concerns over drone sightings in New Jersey, stating that there is no evidence these drones pose a national security or public safety threat or have a foreign origin. John Kirby, the National Security Council spokesperson, clarified that many of the reported sightings are actually of manned aircraft operating legally. The FBI and Department of Homeland Security are investigating, but so far, no evidence has been found to corroborate the drone sightings or suggest foreign involvement. Kirby emphasized that the government has not been able to verify any of the visual reports, and there are no confirmed drone sightings in restricted airspace.
