Jun 21, 2024, 12:44 AM
The Manhattan District Attorney's office, led by Alvin Bragg, has dropped charges against 31 of the 46 individuals who were arrested in connection with the takeover of Hamilton Hall at Columbia University. The charges were mostly misdemeanors, and the decision to drop them was due to a lack of evidence. All 31 individuals who had their charges dropped were either students or staff of Columbia University. The incident was related to anti-Israel protests.
