King Charles and Prince William Make Millions from NHS and Public Services
Nov 2, 2024, 05:51 PM
A joint investigation by Channel 4 Dispatches and The Sunday Times has revealed that King Charles and Prince William are making millions from leasing their estates to public services, including the NHS, schools, government departments, armed forces, and life boat stations. The investigation uncovered that the King and Prince William's estates, which were largely seized by medieval monarchs, are involved in tax-free deals, raising questions over their green pledges. The King is set to charge a London NHS Trust over £11 million in 15 years for ambulance parking, while the Ministry of Justice pays Prince William's duchy £1.5 million annually for Dartmoor prison. Some of Prince William's tenants are reportedly living in hard-to-heat homes with mould and damp issues. Buckingham Palace has issued a response to the accusations of making millions from wind farm firms and polluting mining operations.
