Biden Signs Law Making Bald Eagle Official U.S. National Bird After 240 Years

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden signed into law legislation sent by Congress that officially designates the bald eagle as the national bird of the United States. Despite being a symbol of America's power and strength for over 240 years, the bald eagle had never been formally recognized as the national bird, though many had assumed it was.
