A Brightline train collided with a Delray Beach Fire Rescue truck in downtown Delray Beach, Florida, on Saturday morning, resulting in a total of 15 injuries, including three firefighters and 12 train passengers. The incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. near East Atlantic Avenue and SE 1st Avenue. The firefighters, who were responding to an emergency call, were reported to be in stable condition at a local hospital, while the passengers sustained minor injuries. Video evidence of the collision shows the fire truck driving around rail crossing arms after waiting for another train to pass. The Delray Beach Police Department, along with Brightline officials and the National Transportation Safety Board, are investigating the cause of the collision.
