On Sunday, a suicide drone attack attributed to Hezbollah struck an Israeli military base near the city of Binyamina, south of Haifa, resulting in multiple casualties, including deaths. The drone reportedly exploded over the dining hall of the Golani Brigade base, causing injuries to soldiers present. Initial reports indicated that at least 15 to 20 people were wounded, some critically. Over time, the number of injured has risen, with Magen David Adom reporting up to 67 wounded, including 4 in critical condition, 5 seriously injured, and at least 3 deaths. Emergency services and air force helicopters have been evacuating the wounded to nearby hospitals. The Israel Defense Forces are investigating why no warning sirens were activated prior to the attack.
