South Korea Says 1,100 North Korean Troops Killed in Ukraine; 77 Killed in Kursk Oblast

South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff announced that more than 1,100 North Korean soldiers have been killed or wounded in Russia's war against Ukraine. According to South Korean intelligence, North Korean troops have been supporting Russian forces since early December, and Pyongyang is preparing to deploy additional soldiers and equipment to Russia. Ukrainian Special Operations Forces reported that they killed 77 North Korean soldiers in three days in Kursk Oblast. Reports indicate that North Korean forces have suffered heavy casualties fighting against Ukrainian troops.
