IDF Eliminates Senior Hezbollah Commander Jaafar Khader Faour in Southern Lebanon Airstrike

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Saturday the elimination of Jaafar Khader Faour, a senior Hezbollah commander responsible for the missile and rocket array of Hezbollah's 'Nasser' Unit in southern Lebanon. Faour, who was killed in an airstrike in Jouaiyya, was responsible for the first Hezbollah rockets fired at Israel on October 8, 2023, as well as multiple rocket attacks toward the Golan. He was the head of the rocket and missile unit in Hezbollah’s Nasr division and was killed alongside other operatives.
