UN Report: Over 600 Female Athletes Lost Nearly 900 Medals to Biological Males
Oct 23, 2024, 03:20 PM
A recent United Nations report has revealed that over 600 female athletes have lost nearly 900 medals to transgender competitors in women's sports categories. The report, titled 'Violence Against Women and Girls in Sports,' highlights that these losses occurred across more than 400 competitions in 29 different sports as of March 30, 2024. The findings have sparked renewed calls for banning transgender athletes from women's sports. Prominent figures, including Tulsi Gabbard, have voiced support for such measures, citing the need to protect the integrity of women's sports and uphold Title IX protections. The University of Nevada-Reno women's volleyball team has also taken a stand by refusing to play against biological males.
