NYT Projects Donald Trump to Win 2024 US Presidential Election, First Republican to Secure Popular Vote in 20 Years

The New York Times (NYT) projects that Donald Trump is likely to win the 2024 US Presidential Election, with a greater than 95% chance of victory. Trump is projected to secure 306 electoral votes and win the popular vote by 1.2%, making him the first Republican to win the popular vote in 20 years since George W. Bush. Pennsylvania is also reported to be very likely to vote for Trump, with 93% of the votes counted. Reuters also projects Trump as the winner of the US elections.
