Jocelyn Wildenstein, the socialite known as the "Catwoman" and "La femme chat" for her extensive plastic surgery, has died in Paris at the age of 84. A prominent figure in the jet-set and New York high society, Wildenstein passed away on Tuesday afternoon in her suite at a Parisian hotel, reportedly due to a pulmonary embolism, as confirmed by her companion Lloyd Klein to AFP. She became famous for her striking feline appearance resulting from numerous cosmetic surgeries.
