Tornado Cash developer Alexey Pertsev has been found guilty of money laundering and sentenced to 64 months (approx. 5 years) in prison by a Dutch court. Pertsev, 31, was convicted of laundering $1.2 billion of crypto through his app. The police seized all his assets, including cars and crypto, claiming Tornado Cash was used as a tool for criminal activities.
