A married couple, Bernard and Ann McDonagh, have been jailed and fined for repeatedly leaving restaurants in South Wales without paying their bills. The couple, who were caught after a social media post about their actions went viral, pleaded guilty to stealing more than £1,000 through unpaid bills. They dined and dashed at five restaurants and have been ordered to pay £2,185 in compensation. They will be sentenced later today.
