Air India Express Flight IX613 with 141 Passengers Lands Safely After Hydraulic Failure

An Air India Express flight IX613 from Trichy to Sharjah encountered a hydraulic failure shortly after takeoff, leading to a mid-air emergency. The aircraft, carrying 141 passengers, circled over Trichy airport for over two hours to burn off fuel before attempting to land. More than 20 ambulances and multiple fire tenders were stationed at the airport as a precautionary measure. Despite the technical issues, the flight landed safely at Trichy airport. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) monitored the situation, and the airport was put on alert mode. Airport Director Gopalakrishnan confirmed the emergency measures.
