Republicans have won control of the U.S. Senate after flipping at least two Democratic seats, including key victories in West Virginia and Ohio. Governor Jim Justice flipped the West Virginia Senate seat red, succeeding retiring Democratic Senator Joe Manchin. Republican Deb Fischer was re-elected in Nebraska, defeating independent challenger Dan Osborn. With these victories, the GOP now holds at least 51 seats, ensuring their control of the Senate for the first time in four years.
