The package includes restrictions on 54 individuals and 30 organizations, aimed at curbing Russia's military and industrial capabilities and preventing the circumvention of previous sanctions. This latest round of sanctions reinforces the EU's commitment to countering Russia's ongoing military aggression in Ukraine, as emphasized by EU High Representative Kaja Kallas, who noted that the measures also target Chinese companies supporting Russia's war efforts.
