Lebanon has handed over approximately 70 Syrian officers and soldiers, including former officers, who had fled to Lebanon following the collapse of the Assad regime, to the new Syrian government. The transfer was coordinated between the Lebanese authorities and the Military Operations Department in Tartous, Syria.
