Israel Airline Transported 1,300 kg of Guns; Uplift Demands Action in 14 Days as IDF Foils Drone with Four Rifles

Israel's national airline reportedly transported over 1,300 kilograms of guns through Irish territory to Israel last week, despite prior reports of illegal munitions transport. In response, the campaign group Uplift has threatened legal action against the Irish government, demanding the immediate suspension of all military and dual-use trade with Israel, as well as the use of Irish airspace for weapon transport. Meanwhile, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that they intercepted a drone attempting to smuggle weapons from Egypt into Israel. The drone, which was shot down, was carrying four rifles and a handgun. This incident marks the second reported attempt of weapon smuggling into Israel from Egypt in recent days.
