Qatar has informed Hamas officials residing in the country that they are no longer welcome and must leave immediately, following pressure from the United States after Hamas rejected the latest proposal for a partial ceasefire and hostage deal. U.S. officials conveyed to Qatar that Hamas's presence in Doha was unacceptable, leading Qatar to demand that Hamas leaders, including Khaled Meshaal and Khalil al-Hayya, depart the country approximately ten days ago.
