May 6, 2024, 10:22 PM
LayerZero Labs, an omnichain interoperability protocol designed for lightweight message passing across chains, has announced a campaign to identify and exclude sybil farmers from its airdrop, allowing those who self-report by May 18 to retain 15% of their intended allocation. The company is collaborating with Chaos Labs and Nansen AI to conduct a sybil detection report, analyzing user transactions across all LayerZero applications. Additionally, LayerZero's CEO, Bryan Pellegrino, stated that employees are ineligible for airdrops and will face termination if found to have received them. The airdrop snapshot was completed on May 1.
