US Capitol Police Investigate Cocaine Found on Second Floor of Heavily Trafficked Headquarters
May 15, 2024, 10:46 PM
The United States Capitol Police (USCP) have launched an investigation after a small zip-lock bag containing cocaine residue was discovered on the second floor of their headquarters in Washington, D.C. The bag, approximately one inch by one inch, was found in a heavily trafficked hallway used for storing furniture and other supplies. The discovery was made around 1 p.m., and the substance tested positive for cocaine. The USCP is currently investigating how the bag ended up in the heavily trafficked area, which is located about a 10-minute walk from where the House and Senate meet.
