Microsoft Partners with Khan Academy to Offer Free Khanmigo AI Assistant to U.S. K-12 Educators
May 21, 2024, 04:32 PM
Microsoft has partnered with Khan Academy to offer a free AI-powered teaching assistant, Khanmigo, to all K-12 educators in the U.S. This initiative aims to provide cutting-edge AI tools to educators, helping them save hours of preparation time by assisting with lesson planning, test question creation, and student performance analysis. The AI assistant, powered by Microsoft's Azure OpenAI Service, is expected to enhance the educational experience by personalizing teaching and making advanced technology accessible to teachers nationwide. The collaboration underscores both organizations' commitment to leveraging technology to improve education. Additionally, Microsoft will develop a Phi-3 math model, and the Khanmigo tool, already used by over 65,000 students, will be integrated into this initiative.
